NECC was formed through support from the Community Justice Society in 2010. It exists to build trust, relationships, social capital and dialogue between residents in the North End of Halifax. We host a variety of gatherings, some that are more targeted to residents (like potlucks, workshops and our annual June barbecue), and some that help service providers connect and coordinate.  The monthly roundtable takes place each month on the first Wednesday of the month, 10 a.m., alternating between Veith House and the Halifax North Memorial library. Check our schedule to see where it is this month.

In September 2014, NECC moved into Veith House and since then the staff here have worked hard to make community connections and organize meetings and events for everyone to enjoy.
