Goal: In partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Family Court Division, the goal of this program is to provide a safe, child-centred environment that is professionally supervised so non-custodial parents may have visitation with their child.
Who uses Supervised Access?
Operating primarily on referrals from the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Family Court Division, Supervised Access families are typically before the Court for custodial purposes. The Supervised Access provides written reports to the Court which contributes to the Courts decision in long-term custody and access.
